While watching different variety shows from around the world, we played a few rounds of gin rummy before heading out towards town for the highly anticipated fireworks at midnight.

The many restaurants and bars in the marina were alive with blaring music and large crowds of young people dancing. The weather was favourable with zero rain and temperatures hovering around 15 degrees. No toques or gloves anywhere in sight (Canadian or otherwise).
While writing this entry, I am fortunate enough to be sitting outside bare-footed wearing a sunhat, watching the seagulls being sprayed by the waves hitting the break-wall
of the marina.
Life is good!!!!!
